Long Gone Days is a narrative JRPG that tackles war from a nuanced and deeply human perspective. Far from glorifying combat, the game is primarily interested in its consequences for civilians and the relationships forged in times of conflict.

You play as Rourke, a young man trained from birth to be a sniper within the Core, an underground paramilitary state. During his first mission on the surface, he executes his orders with rigor, before realizing that the Core is far from the noble organization he imagined.

Confronted with the reality of the outside world, Rourke will have to question his certainties, make difficult choices, and learn to understand others, beyond borders, languages, and ideologies.
